Whisper a prayer
To the stars
I look beside my shoulder- there you are with blue roses wilting out of your coat pocket while you hold a handful of its petals. I never knew where to find you but it's as if a shooting star wish that I never prayed for came true. Your eyes lay on me for a second, a smile blossoming on your lips.
A beeping sound distracts me. ———
"Where are you?"I search everywhere- desperately.
"Where have you gone now? Don't leave again"I stomp the ground but it's as if the cement is enclosed, not letting an echo pass through. The screeching computer like sound grows (-----), although, this time I awake, only to find myself hugging a blue gown I don't recollect wearing.
I beg for a shooting star to appear.
I have found prayers to whisper.
Isabelle
